5th Avenue dam

The city has advised the university of the following tentative schedule.

• Week of August 13 | There will be construction activity along the bike path from about 5th Ave. to just north of Lane Ave. Starting on the south end of the project and moving north, for safety, crews will be placing fencing along the bike path. Pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution. While the bike path will remain open, construction equipment will be moving throughout the area while the fence is being placed. You also may see mobilization efforts off the roadway, near the dam, in the area of King Ave. and Olentangy River Rd.
• Week of August 20 | There will be continued mobilization activities with work beginning on the dam late in the week, possibly August 23.
