July 24 - Arps Garage
Temporary modifications are being made to the existing Arps Garage entrance/exit lanes to prepare for the construction of the new East Regional Chilled Water plant. Beginning Tuesday, July 24 ...
- All hourly customers will be required to enter the Arps Garage from the High Street entrance.
- Keycard customers may still use the High Street and College Road entrances.
Future phases of the East Regional Chilled Water Plant will connect various buildings east of the Oval that are not currently served by the McCracken Power Plant. Its distribution system will provide reliable year-round water and will conserve energy, compared to individual chillers for existing and future buildings in the Academic Core North. Construction is anticipated through summer 2014.

9th Avenue opened early
Again, we want to extend our thanks to the dedicated team from Facilities Operations and Development who managed the 9th Avenue project. It opened early, on July 10, well in advance of the targeted late July. That team was led by Project Manager Kevin Koesters.
