July 8 - Changes coming to 12th Ave. & 9th Ave. Garages

From Sunday, July 8, through late 2012, the 12th Avenue Parking Garage will be closed for restoration and maintenance work. During this time ...

• the 9th Avenue West Garage will be converted into patient and visitor parking only, Mon-Fri until 4 p.m., to accommodate displaced patients.
• the 9th Avenue East Garage will be reserved for eligible keycard permit holders only, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Note ... Through July 11, staff members should access 9th Avenue East Garage via Neil Avenue to W. 9th Avenue because of the 9th Avenue road closure. Details, parking alternatives, patient & visitor options.

9th Avenue Opens Ahead of Schedule - We are pleased to announce that 9th Avenue, scheduled to reopen at the end of July, now is scheduled to reopen on Thursday morning, July 12, at which time staff members may access the 9th Avenue East Garage either from Neil Avenue or from Medical Center Drive.

Our thanks to Facilities Operations and Development's Project Manager Kevin Koesters and his team for their diligent work in getting 9th Avenue open ahead of schedule.
