17th Ave. becomes 2-way traffic - starting Sep. 17
Wrapping up major construction work on the 17th Avenue rebuild project, 17th Ave. will become a two-way street for its entire length between Tuttle Park Place and College Road on Monday, Sep. 17. All modes of transportation (vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian) should observe traffic laws, posted speed limits, and be aware of each other as they travel along this pedestrianized roadway. This change is a continuation of implementing the Framework Plan, in which two-way traffic is a design technique utilized to reduce traffic speeds and help make our campus core more pedestrian-friendly.
