District 1 Leader Kenny King
Kenny King brings nearly 13 years of Ohio State experience to the District Leadership position. For 10 years, he has served as the Superintendent of Buildings with the Building Services group. His duties included managing in-house custodial operations, scheduling, and assigning work. Before working at the university, Kenny gained experience from managing both in-house and contracted custodial operations. Kenny has also made multiple efforts to benefit both FOD and the university. Previously cleaned by an external contractor, Cockins Hall has been restructured to in-house staff members, which has benefited FOD by reducing expenditures and creating an efficient servicing system. Additionally, Kenny implemented an inventory system that streamlined supply ordering.
Zone 1 Leader John Coppeler
John started with FOD in January 2001 as a Groundskeeper 1 and was promoted to supervisor in October 2006. He is currently the acting Building Maintenance Supervisor for the Plant Materials Shop. He was a FOD 2004 Employee of the Year for Roads & Grounds and recipient of the 2004 Michael Blankenship Award.

Zone 2 Leader John Keller
John joined FOD in February 1998 as a Maintenance Repair Worker 2 and has been the Maintenance Superintendent for the North Shop for five years. He holds a state certificate in Sheet Metal Work from the Southeast Career Center.

Zone 3 Leader Stan Highley
Stan joined Facilities Operations and Development in November 2008, coming from the Department of Corrections where he was a maintenance superintendent II. He brings more than 20 years of experience in maintenance and facilities management and holds a Building Operators Certificate from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.

Zone 4 Leader Mark Soliday
Mark joined OSU after more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and has been a Building Maintenance Superintendent 1 for the North Shop since May 2006. He holds an associate degree in Avionics from the U.S. Air Force Community College
