Medical Center Drive Closure
Beginning Saturday (7/25) early morning through Friday (7/31) early evening, Medical Center Drive between Cannon Drive and Old Cannon Drive will be closed in both directions. Traffic will be detoured to King Avenue. Motorists should anticipate delays. The Morehouse to Med Center Shuttle will maintain its regular route but may experience delays.
Rolling Lane Restrictions at Cannon and Herrick
On Friday (7/10) from early morning to mid afternoon, Cannon Drive and Herrick Drive, near the intersection, will experience rolling lane restrictions as equipment is moved from location to location to accommodate utility work. Traffic will be maintained with the assistance of traffic control officials.
Lane Restrictions at Brain and Spine Hospital Loop
On Saturday (8/8), from early morning to late afternoon, lane restrictions will be in place at the Brain and Spine Hospital loop to accommodate a crane lift to Rhodes Hall. Traffic will be maintained.
Impacts on 12th Avenue
From Tuesday (7/14) early morning through Friday (8/7) mid day, rolling restrictions will take place at the Postle Hall loading dock. Two-way traffic will be maintained, but anticipate additional construction traffic. Signage will detour pedestrians to the north sidewalk.
