Buckeye Wellness is honoring Coco Kneisly, Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) administrative manager, in its February 2022 Spotlight.

“I was humbled,” Kneisly said. “It was nice to be recognized for the work that we all do as Buckeye Wellness Innovators in FOD.”

More than a year has passed since Mark Conselyea took over as associate vice president for Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) on January 1, 2019.

Looking back on his first year at the helm, Conselyea reflected on what he’s learned and on his vision for the future:

It’s a chance for qualified staff to take their work skills to the next level with the university's Facilities Maintenance Associate Trainee Program. FOD's Senior Business Operations Analyst Desiree Weber oversees the project.

“The program creates a pipeline of talent from service titles into skilled trades,” Weber said. “We want to develop talent within. It’s a highly competitive market, and we realize we have a great resource if we tap into it.”

Ohio State’s campus is always undergoing new changes. Some are constant upkeeps, while others are new buildings and projects to aid students.

Seeing the freshly plowed sidewalks or feeling the heat come through vents in classrooms all seem normal and might go unnoticed, yet they are all strategically planned.  More.

Facilities Operations and Development employee Joe Skully has been a part of The Ohio State University for the better part of 15 years. Skully came to Ohio State in 2002 through the Project Plus program and was later hired on as a full-time employee in 2007. Joe works as an Information Specialist for the District 3 team.

“I’m very good at teamwork. I like my team because we can get a lot of work done, as a team and as a team player,” Joe said.
