On Saturday (9/28), from early morning through late afternoon, the eastbound lane of 12th Avenue by Postle Hall will be closed for a crane lift to Doan Hall. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the westbound lane with the assistance of traffic control officials. Access to Doan Hall and to the 12th Avenue Garage will be maintained. Signage will detour pedestrians to the north sidewalk.

Columbus Business First wrote about the Ohio State Board of Trustees approving design for a new Lacrosse Stadium to be located in the heart of the Athletics District, east of Fred Taylor Drive. The building will join the recently opened Covelli Center and Schumaker Student-Development Complex as well as the soon-to-be-built Ty Tucker Tennis Center as new additions originally outlined in Framework 2.0.
The $20 million project will include an outdoor field, 2,500 stadium seats, locker rooms and concessions. Construction will require future board approval.
The Dodd Hall parking lot will be closed from Friday (9/13) at midnight through Monday (9/16) at 6 a.m. and again on Friday (9/27) at midnight through Monday (9/30) at 6 a.m. Vehicles remaining in the lot will be relocated at the owner’s expense. These closures will accommodate repair and lighting work in the lot to facilitate valet operations.
UPDATE - On Friday (9/13) mid afternoon to mid evening and again on Saturday (9/14) early morning to late afternoon, College Road by Page Hall will be reduced to one lane for repair of an ADA curb ramp. Two-way traffic will be maintained with the assistance of traffic control officers. Pedestrians will be detoured to the western College Road sidewalk via crosswalks at the Ohio Union and north of Page Hall. Anticipate delays.
Note that lane restrictions will be removed for Friday overnight.
On Friday (9/20) and again on Saturday (9/28), beginning early morning and continuing through late afternoon, lane restrictions will be in place for crane lifts to Ross Heart Hospital.
The westbound lane of 10th Avenue, south of Ross Heart Hospital, will be closed. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lane with the assistance of traffic control officers. Public vehicle access to the Emergency Department and to the front of the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute will be maintained. EMS should access the Emergency Department from 12th Avenue.
On Friday (9/6) early morning and again on Sunday (9/8) late afternoon through evening, the east sidewalk of Neil Ave., south of 11th Ave., will be closed to pedestrians for the installation of additional scaffolding. Detour signage at the 10th Ave. intersection will direct pedestrians to the west side of Neil Ave.

Beginning Monday (8/19) and continuing through mid October, the Olentangy Bike Trail will undergo construction of a new section, enhancing the green space along the river as part of the Cannon Drive relocation project. Detours are indicated by the green dashed lines on the maps. Note that, in Stage 1, the detour begins south of 5th Avenue, on the upper path. All dates are dependent on weather and field conditions.
Beginning Saturday (8/24) early morning and continuing through late afternoon, 12th Avenue near Doan Hall will undergo limited utility work. Two-way traffic will be maintained, and access to the garage and to Doan Hall should not be impacted. Pedestrians may experience a small detour, if field conditions require.
UPDATE - Beginning Saturday (8/24) early morning and continuing through Friday (8/30) late afternoon, the south exit of Arps Garage will be closed for utility work. Motorists may utilize the exit on the northwest corner of the building. Entry to the garage will be maintained in one lane on the south side.
