On Friday (4/3), from early morning to mid afternoon, Millikin Road will be closed for a crane lift to McCracken. Pedestrians will be detoured to the east sidewalk. Vehicle access to the loading dock area at Baker Systems Engineering, from Annie and John Glenn Ave., will be blocked. Alternate ADA parking is available at Tuttle Park Place Garage and at Northwest Garage.
On Saturday (4/4), from early morning through late afternoon, the eastbound lane of 12th Avenue by Postle Hall will be closed for a crane lift to Doan Hall. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the westbound lane with the assistance of traffic control officials. Access to Doan Hall and to the 12th Avenue Garage will be maintained. Signage will detour pedestrians to the north sidewalk.
On Thursday (3/26) and Friday (3/27), each morning and each afternoon, College Road at Annie and John Glenn Avenue will experience a lane restriction to accommodate utility work. Traffic will be maintained. The Buckeye Village (BV) CABS route will be rerouted, servicing RPAC and turning back around on Tuttle Park Place to continue its normal route. It will not service University Hall, Arps Hall, Blackburn and Mason Hall bus stops.
Beginning Monday (3/23) early morning and continuing through Friday (3/27) late afternoon, westbound traffic on Medical Center Drive south of Dodd Hall will be reduced to one lane to accommodate utility work. Access to the Davis Medical Research Center will be maintained.
On Saturday (3/14), from early morning through late afternoon, Dodd Drive will be closed for a crane lift to Dodd Hall. Pedestrians may access Dodd Hall through the Davis Medical Research Center. ADA parking is available at the Davis Medical Research Center, accessed off Medical Center Drive.
From Tuesday (3/10) early morning and continuing through late afternoon, soil testing will occur at various locations in and around the new lacrosse stadium. Equipment will sit atop each location and collect soil samples at various depths. The equipment is approximately 20'x8' and will sound like a semitractor-trailer, with minimal fumes and an occasional "hammer" sound lasting for one minute. The exact schedule and order of drillings will be variable because of access, weather, and rate of progress.
Beginning Monday (3/9) early morning and continuing through Wednesday (3/11) mid evening, College Road between 18th Ave. and Annie & John Glenn Ave. will be closed for utility work to support the Arts District expansion. Beginning Wednesday (3/4) early morning and continuing through Friday (3/13) late afternoon, the sidewalk around Newton Hall construction will be closed for utility work. Signage will detour pedestrians to the east sidewalk of Neil Ave. and the south sidewalk of 9th Ave.
