On Wednesday, April 25, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through late afternoon, a crane lift will take place south of the Martha Morehouse Pavilion, affecting parking. Alternate ADA parking will be made available. Access to the building will be maintained.
On Saturday, April 28, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through early evening, the loop to the Brain and Spine Hospital will be closed to thru-traffic for a crane lift. Access to the entrance of the Brain and Spine Hospital will be maintained via two-way traffic along the east branch of the loop, between Starling-Loving Hall and Hamilton Hall. Access to the limited parking west of Starling-Loving Hall will be maintained via two-way traffic along the west branch of the loop, between Prior Hall and Fry Hall. Fencing and signage will be in place for detouring traffic and pedestrians.
On Saturday, April 21, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through early afternoon, 12th Avenue will be closed at Postle Hall for a crane lift. Signage will detour traffic to Herrick Drive. Pedestrians will be directed to use the north sidewalk.

Apr 18 - 11:47 a.m. - A power outage has been reported in Ohio State’s west campus area. This is impacting traffic lights in the area of Kenny Road, Woody Hayes Drive and Kinnear Road, causing traffic back-ups. Currently, CABS service remains on schedule, but please plan ahead in case of possible delays as the result of the power outage. AEP reports an estimated restoration time between noon and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18.
On April 8, from 7 a.m. to mid-afternoon, 10th Avenue between Westpark Street and Medical Center Drive will be closed for the annual Garden of Pinwheels event. Signage will be in place to detour traffic counterclockwise via north on Medical Center Drive to south on Westpark Street.
Beginning April 6 at 7 a.m. and continuing through mid-afternoon, the sidewalk between Rhodes Hall and Prior Hall will be partially closed for a crane lift. Signage will be in place to direct pedestrians, and the fence line between the two buildings will leave a path for pedestrians, under the awning at Prior Health Sciences Library.
On April 7, beginning at approximately 7 a.m. and continuing through late afternoon, the southbound lane of Neil Ave. between 8th Ave. and King Ave. will be closed for a crane lift to the Mershon Center. Signage will be in place to indicate traffic detours. Southbound traffic will be detoured east on 8th Avenue, then south on Worthington Street. The construction team will soon be packing up its equipment, as renovations of the historic Pomerene Hall are nearing completion. Late May 2018 is the target date for the new tenants of the building to start moving in. On Monday, April 9, beginning at 9 p.m. and continuing through Tuesday, April 10, at 6 a.m., the eastbound lane of 10th Avenue between Medical Center Drive and Westpark Street will be closed for utility work. The westbound lane will remain open. Traffic delays around the area and service delays on the Martha Morehouse shuttle are anticipated during this time. This effort is in support of the Cannon Drive Relocation project.
