On Saturday (10/2) from early morning to late afternoon, the area around Parks Hall will have two crane lifts, first on the west side and then moving to the east side. Parking at the Biological Sciences Building will remain accessible.
Beginning Monday (9/27) early morning through Saturday (10/2) mid evening, the corner northeast of Newton Hall will undergo utility work. Slight adjustments to existing barricades will accommodate both traffic and pedestrians.
Columbia Gas of Ohio has advised that, from Monday (9/27) early morning through Friday (10/1) early evening, lane restrictions will be in place on Kinnear Road west of Kenny Road to accommodate utility work. Flaggers will facilitate 2-way traffic in one lane. Signage will detour pedestrians.
Beginning Friday (10/1) mid evening through Monday (10/4) early morning, 12th Avenue east of Cannon Drive will be closed for crane assembly. Traffic will be detoured to Herrick Dr. Signage will detour pedestrians. Traffic control officials will facilitate construction traffic.
Access to Harding Hospital, Parks Hall, and the Biological Sciences Building will be maintained via Neil Ave., west on 12th Ave. On Sunday (10/3) between early morning to mid afternoon, parking will not be available at the Biological Sciences Building garage and lot.
Beginning Wednesday (9/22) through Friday (9/24), from 9 a.m. to mid afternoon daily, the easternmost northbound lane on Fred Taylor Dr., just north of Lane Ave., will be closed for utility work. To accommodate, the left turn lanes - from eastbound Lane Ave. to northbound Fred Taylor Dr. - will be reduced to one left turn lane.
On Friday (9/24) from early morning through mid day, the southwest corner of the Animal Science Buildng will be blocked for a crane lift. Signage will detour pedestrians to the western area of the parking lot or through the building to access the east parking lot. Parking lot traffic will be maintained. The loading docks will be blocked.
On Sunday (9/19), from early morning through mid evening, the area northwest of Doan Hall will experience a crane lift. Flaggers will facilitate traffic. Access to Doan Hall will be maintained. There will be temporary disruption to the loading docks during crane set-up and tear-down.
