UPDATE June 12, 2019 - Field conditions require that the High Street entrance to the Ohio Union North Garage be totally closed until Monday morning, after which access from High Street will return to being maintained via one lane. The Ohio Union North Garage remains accessible via College Road.
May 31, 2019 - Beginning Wednesday (6/5) and continuing through mid-June, utility work will take place between High Street and the entrance to the Ohio Union North Garage. Access to the garage will be maintained in one lane. Access to the Ohio Union South Garage will not be affected.
UPDATE June 12, 2019 - Beginning Thursday (6/13) and continuing through mid August, roadway improvements will take place along Fred Taylor Drive and at the Ackerman Road intersection. Motorists should anticipate some delays. Pedestrians should continue to use existing walkways but anticipate minor detours. Work will take place from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Beginning on Saturday (6/15) at 11 p.m. and continuing through Sunday (6/16) at 3 a.m., power to the North Cannon Garage and to the South Cannon Garage will be shut down for utility work. Parking will be maintained. Entrances will be closed, and one exit gate in each garage will be lifted. Elevators will be out of service. Generators will provide some lighting, and additional security will be onsite. Alternate visitor parking, including elevator service, is available in SAFEAUTO and 12th Avenue Garages. Alternate staff parking is available in any other location where the permit is valid.
On Saturday (6/22) from early morning to late afternoon, parking on the south side of 10th Avenue in front of Graves Hall will be blocked for a crane lift to Meiling Hall. The south sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrians will be detoured to the north sidewalk. Alternative ADA parking is available at Hamilton Hall, west of Starling Loving Hall, or at nearby garages. There will be no access between Graves Hall and Meiling Hall via the connecting doorway.
Beginning Monday (6/10) early morning and continuing through Tuesday (6/11) late afternoon, there will be intermittent and temporary lane restrictions in front of The Blackwell impacting the right turn lane of northbound Tuttle Park Place. Motorists will be able to turn right onto Neil Ave. For the duration of construction, pedestrians will be detoured to the west sidewalk. The lane restrictions will allow for the offloading and onloading of construction equipment.
Beginning Sunday (6/2) and continuing through Wednesday (6/5), from 6 p.m. - 5 a.m. each night, mill and fill roadway work will occur at the intersection of John Herrick Drive and Cannon Drive. Roadway officials will direct traffic accordingly through the intersection. Traffic and CABS service delays are anticipated. This work is required to reopen Cannon Drive, between 12th Avenue and Cannon Drive, in June.
The Columbus Dispatch reported on advancements in The Ohio State University's Arts District following construction approval this week from the Board of Trustees.
As the outlet reported, Ohio State unveiled the latest plans for its future Arts District on Thursday as a committee of trustees approved more than $380 million toward that project, its regional ambulatory centers and other facility projects.
Columbus Business First provided an update on the progress of Ohio State's Ty Tucker Tennis Center. The project sought construction approval at this week's Board of Trustees meeting.
