On Friday (3/24), from 9 a.m. and continuing for at least a few hours, eastbound Woodruff, just east of Tuttle Park Place, will be closed for utility work. Traffic personnel will be onsite. Plan alternate route.
CampusParc has advised that, beginning Monday (3/13) and continuing through Tuesday (3/14), Lane Avenue Garage will undergo elevator maintenance, affecting the elevators at the southwest corner of the building. Signage will be in place, directing parkers to use the elevator in the northwest corner of the building.
From March 13 through March 22, Neil Avenue between the South Oval pathway and Neil Drive will be closed to thru-traffic to accommodate utility work. Sidewalk closures will occur adjacent to the roadway, but pedestrian access will be maintained (signage will be posted), shifted as shown on the attached map, subject to change.
On Saturday, March 18, beginning at approximately 6:30 a.m. and continuing through late afternoon, Neil Avenue at 19th Avenue will be closed to thru-traffic for a crane lift to Caldwell Laboratory. Westbound 19th Avenue traffic will be routed via Magruder Rd. to 18th Avenue. Access to the Journalism Building and Scott Laboratory docks will be maintained. Pedestrians will be directed to the west side of Neil Avenue.
On Saturday, Feb. 18, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through mid-afternoon, the Rhodes Hall Loop in front of University Hospital will be narrowed to one lane for a concrete pour. Entrances to University Hospital (Rhodes Hall), Ross Heart Hospital and Prior Hall will remain accessible. The sidewalk between Rhodes Hall and Ross Heart Hospital will be closed. Traffic cones and spotters will be onsite to guide traffic and pedestrians.
On Saturday (2/11), beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through early evening, the dock area at Bevis Hall and Rightmire Hall will be closed for a crane lift. The east sidewalk and two east entrances of Bevis Hall will be closed. The south sidewalk and southwest entrance of Rightmire Hall will be closed. Deliveries to Bevis Hall and Rightmire Hall will be suspended.
Beginning Tuesday (Jan. 3) and continuing through Saturday (Jan. 7), the Stillman parking lot will be closed for completing work associated with the 18th Ave. roadway construction project. Alternative ADA parking is available at the Arps Parking Garage.
The City of Columbus will perform utility work at three campus locations. Traffic control officers will be in place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction. Detour signage will be in place. Access to the Neil Ave. Garage will be via Cannon Drive to Herrick Drive. The roadway will remain accessible to emergency vehicles.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Woodruff Ave. between Tuttle Park Place and the Scott House loading dock will be closed to thru-traffic for a crane lift at Hitchcock Hall. The sidewalks between Hitchcock Hall and the Physics Building will be closed, as will the southeast entrance of Schoenbaum Hall. Detour signage will be in place. During this time, the Buckeye Village CABS route will proceed to RPAC Plaza and return north, not servicing the University Hall, 17th & College Rd., Arps Hall, Blackburn House, and Mason Hall stops.
