From Monday (6/28) morning through the end of July, the corner of Neil Ave. and 9th Ave. periodically will receive structural steel deliveries for the Newton Hall addition. Traffic control officials will facilitate construction traffic into and out of the site, resulting in short-term traffic delays.
Beginning June 23 through the end of June, Carmack Road east of Rothenbuhler Honey Bee Research Laboratory will be closed to accommodate utility work. Access from Kenny Rd. and Lane Ave. will be maintained for local traffic to the impacted area.
On June 26-27, Carmack Road south of Bevis Hall will be closed for roadway work. Sidewalks in the area will be closed, and signage will detour pedestrians. The loading docks will remain open but with limited access. The CABS Bevis Hall stop will not be serviced. Traffic will be able to detour through Carmack Lots 2 & 3.

Parks Hall will be closed for a crane lift at its southeast corner. The parking garage and the lot at the Biological Sciences Building will be closed Friday morning through late Sunday afternoon. The nearest visitor parking is the 12th Avenue Garage . Parks Hall should be vacated on June 26-27. Signage will detour pedestrians. Access to the Riffe Building (north entrance) and the Biological Sciences Building and Harding Hospital (east entrances) will be maintained. Beginning Monday (6/14) early morning through early July, Cannon Dr. between Woody Hayes Dr. and Herrick Dr. will be reduced to one lane of southbound traffic to accommodate roadway repair. On Monday (6/21) through Friday (6/25), between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the roadway south of Blankenship Hall will be reduced to one lane to accommodate utility work. Two-way traffic will be maintained with the assistance of traffic control officials.
On June 21-22, Parks Hall will experience two crane lifts, the first on the east side on Monday (6/21) and the second on the west side on Tuesday (6/22). Access to the loading dock and parking at the Biological Sciences Building will be maintained.
On Saturday (6/12), from early morning to early afternoon, the southbound lane of Neil Ave. between 12th Ave. and 11th Ave. will be closed for a crane lift to Postle Hall. Traffic control officials will facilitate 2-way traffic in the northbound lane. Pedestrians will be detoured to the east sidewalk.
Beginning Monday (6/14) early morning through early July, Campbell Hall will undergo masonry repair and window replacements. Rolling impacts will take place as workers progress around the building, with signage detouring pedestrians to the opposite sidewalk or parking spaces being temporarily closed, as warranted.
