Beginning Tuesday (5/14) early morning and continuing through mid afternoon, there will be lane restrictions along Dodd Drive to accommodate a crane lift to Atwell Hall. Signage and traffic control officials will be in place to assist with traffic and pedestrians.
On Saturday (5/18), beginning early morning and continuing through mid afternoon, access to the drive between Journalism/Caldwell and Scott Laboratory will be closed for a crane lift. A pedestrian walkway will be maintained on the west side of Scott Laboratory.
Beginning Wednesday (5/8) from early morning and continuing through late afternoon, westbound Medical Center Drive, between Old Cannon Drive and Cannon Drive, will be closed. Traffic will be detoured south on old Cannon Drive to King Avenue during this time. Traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists should allow for additional travel time in the area on May 8.
Additionally, continuing through Friday (5/10), the north sidewalk along Medical Center Drive, between Old Cannon Drive and Cannon Drive, will remain closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to the south sidewalk. These closures support concrete work in the area.
Beginning Monday (5/13) early morning and continuing through Wednesday (5/22), one of the westbound lanes of Woody Hayes Drive near the Agricultural Engineering Building will be closed for roadway repair.
Beginning Thursday evening, May 2, and continuing through Saturday, May 4, King Avenue, between Old Cannon Drive and Cannon Drive, will be reduced to one lane in each direction. These lane closures are also scheduled to occur again May 17-19.
Summer is prime time for construction as the university invests in the campus of the future. Multiple construction projects, starting on or around Mon. (5/6) will impact vehicles and pedestrians. A closure of College Road will detour traffic and CABS routes . Detours may be slow as construction reduces High Street to one lane in each direction. On campus, 11th Avenue will become one-way westbound. Review summer construction phasing maps online to plan ahead. You’re going places. Get there safely!
Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) maintenance personnel will conduct the annual heating-to-cooling season transition in several campus buildings throughout the month of April, necessitating increased activity of FOD maintenance personnel in and around the mechanical spaces of the buildings.
Maintenance personnel will shut down certain heating systems, where applicable, and perform the proper maintenance to bring the cooling systems on-line.

Beginning Saturday (4/20) early morning and continuing through mid day, the Upham Drive loop, east of Harding Hospital, will be closed for a crane lift. The east entrance of Harding Hospital will be closed. Two-way traffic will be accommodated west of Harding Hospital, with emergency vehicle access maintained.
Beginning on Monday (4/15) early morning and continuing through Monday (4/22) late afternoon, the area west of Arps Hall and Wexner Center for the Arts will be closed in preparation of the Arts District build-out. The closures will be alternating phases so as to minimize pedestrian impact. Signage will be in place to detour pedestrians around each area as applicable.
Beginning Monday (4/15) and continuing through September, workers will restore the north façade of The Blackwell, near Tuttle Park Place, closing the south sidewalk of Neil Avenue. Pedestrians will be detoured to the north side of Neil Avenue and are reminded to exercise caution in and around construction areas.
