Loren Brockway Bio

Loren Brockway has served as senior director and chief of staff for Facilities Design and Construction since December 2022. In his role he leads the academic and auxiliary project management teams as well as the program management and eBuilder management teams. Loren has experience in all phases of project development, from programming and schematic design through construction documents and construction administration services. He is operationally focused working to align FDC strategically with a focus on process improvement.

He joined Ohio State in 2020 as a senior project manager where he completed the Outpatient Care New Albany project. He also spent time as an executive project manager as a key member of the Inpatient Hospital project team and working in coordination with Time and Change project teams on key facilities such as the Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Dublin and the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center. Prior to joining Ohio State, Loren worked as a project manager for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He’s also held architect roles at several design firms over his 20 years prior to joining Ohio State. He is a registered architect through the State of Ohio (2008), a LEED accredited professional via USGBC Ohio (2008) and holds his National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certification (2009). 

Loren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Miami University, a Master of Architecture from Florida International University.
