Peter Calamari serves as associate vice president of Operations for The Ohio State University’s Facilities Operations and Development (FOD). The FOD Operations team is made up of more than 400 staff members and performs building and roadway maintenance, snow removal and landscaping services for the university and the Wexner Medical Center. It is also responsible for campus custodial, sustainability and energy services, offering an integrated service model that provides customers with a single point of contact and around-the-clock service.
Peter has more than 30 years of professional experience, having joined Ohio State in 2005. Prior to being named associate vice president, Peter worked as a senior director of Facilities Operations overseeing a 170-person team. He served as a core member of the facilities operations group focused on switching to a planned maintenance model in place of reactive work and led the FOD Operations Infrastructure & Capital Planning Group.
Peter earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from SUNY Maritime College and received his MBA at Purdue.
