The mark must not be altered in any way, and additional configurations are not permitted. Do not recreate the mark. To preserve the mark's prominence, no additional iconography, marks or artwork may be used in conjunction with it.
Mark Elements
1. "Zero"
The “Zero” icon represents the ratio of recycling, compost, and trash in achieving zero waste. This icon may not be used on it’s own.
2. Wordmark
The wordmark is typeset with a distinct typeface and should not be recreated. This mark may be used on it’s own only when space is limited.
3. Tagline
The tagline helps to communicate the zero waste message. The mark combined with the tagline may be used in instances where further clarification is needed. The tagline is typeset with distinted typeface and should not be recreated.
The Mark
Together the “Zero” icon and wordmark are the complete design. All versions of the mark are distinct and should not be recreated.
Configurations
There are four approved configurations of the logo: horizontal, vertical, horizontal with tag, and vertical with tag.

The vertical configuration may be used in circumstances where it is impractical to use the preferred horizontal version.

Clear Space
“Clear space” is the protected area around the logo that maximizes its impact. This space must be kept free of all other graphics and text, including other logos. It is also the minimum distance the logo can be from the edges of an electronic document or printed piece. The minimum required amount of clear space is defined by the height of the "Z".

Minimum Size
The wordmark should not appear smaller than 0.1875 inches tall in print or 90 pixels tall in digital. The proportions of the "Zero" and tagline in relation to the wordmark should not be changed.
Color Variations
The Zero Waste mark is designed in two color variations, with white text and dark gray text. Use the dark gray text when the background requires a darker representation of the wordmark. Use the white text when the background requires a lighter representation of the wordmark.
The mark should never be used in one color. For use when ink colors are restricted please contact A&P Communications.
