Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

FOD's Molly Kathleen Recognized in USAC Spotlight

Molly Kathleen, Zero Waste Manager for Facilities Operations and Development (FOD), was recognized by the University Staff Advisory Committee (USAC) in its Staff in the Spotlight. 

According to Kathleen's nominator: "Their ability to create an inclusive, respectful environment empowers everyone involved to take pride in their role and contribute to the university’s mission.”

The committee recognizes two staff members each month from a pool of nominations. The spotlight is designed to recognize staff of The Ohio State University who exemplifies what it means to be a Buckeye. 

All part-time and full-time staff in a regular non-faculty position are eligible. Staff nominees: 

  • Strive to bring out The Ohio State University best practices in others
  • Demonstrate Ohio State's Shared Values
  • Create a positive impact on The Ohio State University community
