The Physical Access Shared Services group ensures, through enterprise-wide collaboration, that all departments, faculty, staff and administrators are compliant with the Physical Access Management and Control Policy and follow best practices to ensure the security of its physical spaces and access to university assets.
Physical Access Management and Control Policy
Effective April 27, 2021, Ohio State adopted the Physical Access Management and Control policy that establishes comprehensive and coordinated management of physical access across the university enterprise.


Delegate Administrative Areas
Delegate Administrative Areas are responsible for oversight of approved physical access control systems in their areas and for ensuring that operational and administrative protocols are met.
