From Sunday (5/9) late evening, after spring commencement, through mid July, 12th Ave. between Cannon Dr. and Harding Hospital will be closed to accommodate utility work to support construction of the new inpatient hospital. Signage will detour traffic from Cannon Dr., east on Herrick Dr., south on Neil Ave., west on 12th Ave.
- Traffic control officials will facilitate EMS traffic to use a temporary route between the Biomedical Research Tower and Tzagournis Medical Research Facility to the Emergency Department north entrance, with an alternate route of 10th Ave., north on Dodd Dr. to the south entrance.
- Pedestrians and ADA will be accommodated with a temporary sidewalk to the south and west of Parks Hall.
- The Ackerman Shuttle will utilize the EMS temporary route, stopping at the Biomedical Research Tower (instead of Harding Hospital), continuing to Doan Hall and Meiling Hall as usual, and returning via John Herrick Dr.
