22 x 22 Campaign Helping Labs Become Green Buckeye Certified

In partnership with the Undergraduate Student Government and the Council of Graduate Students, The Ohio State University has a goal of helping 22 campus laboratories become Green Buckeye Certified by April 22, 2018 as part of its 22 x 22 campaign. The program includes resource conservation education, recycling waste reduction, energy efficiency, green purchasing and health and wellness. Applications for certification can be found at fod.osu.edu/greenbuckeye. A score of 75% in three out five of the major categories is needed for certification. The first 22 labs to be certified this spring will receive a $200 travel award for students to use towards an academic conference, meeting, or symposium. By becoming Green Buckeye Certified, labs will demonstrate leadership and commitment to Ohio State’s sustainability goals.
