Utility Work at Buckeye Village

UPDATE - In July, utility work will begin in the Buckeye Village area for the Covelli Center for a new gas line to support the Covelli Center.  Some of this work will take place from north of Mahoning Court to southwest of the Recreation Hall (locations are proximate and subject to change). A minimum of five holes will be dug as access points to install a new gas line. Safety is our top priority, and each location will be surrounded with chain link fencing at all times. Crews expect the holes to be uncovered for two weeks before being backfilled upon completion of the installation. The two farthest locations will be in the western drive lane of Defiance Drive. Traffic controls will be in place, and the work will not affect the bus stop. The playground will not be impacted. Please exercise caution around construction sites, never tamper with the fencing, and pay attention to signage in the area. As always, residents are required to supervise children at all times within Buckeye Village. With construction sites near play areas, additional supervision is encouraged.
