You're Going Places
UPDATED Apr 25, 2019 - Summer is primetime for construction as the university invests in the campus of the future. Starting on or around May 6, multiple projects will impact vehicles and pedestrians. On campus, 11th Avenue will become one-way westbound and CampusParc will be doing repair work to the 11th Avenue Garage. High Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction due to nearby construction. In early June, a closure of College Road will detour traffic and CABS routes to High Street. Review the summer construction phasing maps below to plan ahead for delays.
You're Going Places! Get there safely.
With warmer weather comes increased multi-modal traffic.
- Drivers should be on the lookout for pedestrians, bikes and scooters.
- Pedestrians should always use crosswalks.
- Keep your eyes up and your earbuds out when traveling on campus.
- Everyone should follow directions of traffic control officers or construction signage.
We all share the road and the responsibility in ensuring it’s done safely. Look out for your fellow Buckeyes! For additional traffic safety tips, visit sharetheroad.osu.edu.
