Morehouse Parking, Traffic Impacts Begin Late September

Beginning September 23 and continuing through spring 2021, work will begin to build a mechanical and electrical room structure that will support the existing Morehouse Tower, resulting in impacts to area traffic, parking, and the MA and MM shuttles.  Note that dates are approximate and subject to change.

  • September 23, 2019 - March 2020 – Phased electrical ductbank work will occur south of Morehouse Concourse and Pavilion, moving east to west, closing parking in the area. Alternate ADA parking will be made available just south of the space closures, and signage will be in place to direct motorists accordingly. The pavilion entrance/exit doors on the south side will remain open during construction, and signage will be in place to detour pedestrians.
  • Early to mid October 2019 - Spring 2021 – Construction laydown, staging and crane installation south of Morehouse Tower will close multiple parking spaces and the drive lane located between the tower and pavilion. To facilitate the drive lane closure, EMS, valet, and MA and MM shuttle traffic will be rerouted at the Tower as indicated.
