The nightly closure of the northbound SR-315 Medical Center Drive / King Avenue off-ramp, previously scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 19, has been rescheduled to begin on Sunday, September 24. The off-ramp will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. for approximately one month.
The closure will facilitate the distribution of dirt between the SR-315 on and off ramps, which is needed to begin the construction of the new Cannon Drive roadway. Emergency vehicle access from 315 will be maintained via a traffic control officer.
The following detour will be in place:
- Proceed northbound on SR-315 to Lane Avenue exit.
- Exit at Lane Avenue and turn right onto Lane Avenue.
- Turn right on Olentangy River Road.
- Turn left on King Avenue.
- Turn left on Cannon Drive.
Motorists are encouraged to plan in advance and allow for additional commute times during these nightly closures.
Signage will be posted along State 315 to alert motorists of the nightly closure. Detour signage will also be posted to help patient and visitors get from the Lane Avenue exit to the Medical Center.
