Construction continues on the future site of the Herrick Drive Transit Hub west of the Neil Avenue Garage. The closure of Herrick Drive, between Neil Drive and the South Campus Central Chiller Plant parking lot, previously scheduled for Monday (7/17), will be moved up to Monday (7/10). The date change will provide additional time for construction in advance of Herrick Drive reopening on August 16. Access to the Neil Avenue Garage will be maintained from the east. Access to the chiller plant parking lot will be maintained along Herrick Drive. Motorists exiting the 12th Avenue Garage onto Herrick Drive should proceed eastbound to Neil Avenue. As additional construction traffic travels the area and motorists adjust to detours, traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.
