ZerOH Waste Excellence

Ohio State is outpacing the Big Ten in one category of the Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly RecycleMania) competition.

In the Per Capita category, Ohio State finished first in the Big Ten Conference with 15.9 pounds per capita. Per capita is calculated by the amount of waste diverted from landfill per person. 

In the News: Faculty, staff make environmental impact

In 2021, the Wexner Medical Center Green Team provided multiple opportunities for faculty, staff and students to participate in Earth Day activities. To celebrate, faculty and staff brought items to the Ackerman Shelter House that normally might have gone to the landfill to be recycled, repurposed or disposed of in a more environmentally friendly way. 

Carmack Rd. Closed at Waterman Storage Facility

UPDATE - On Friday (5/7), Carmack Rd. at Waterman Storage Facility will be closed to thru-traffic to accommodate utility work.  Access from Kenny Rd. and Lane Ave. will be maintained for local traffic to the impacted area.
