UPDATE Feb. 13 - Beginning Monday (2/10) early morning and continuing through Thursday (2/13) late afternoon, 19th Avenue near Fontana Laboratory will be closed to accommodate utlity work. Alternate motorcycle parking is available north of Stillman Hall and at Arps Garage. Alternate ADA parking is available at Arps Garage. Pedestrians will be detoured to the west side of Celeste Laboratory and to the east side of Evans Laboratory.
Northbound traffic on Fred Taylor Drive, just south of Ackerman Road, will experience lane restrictions from early morning to mid afternoon to accommodate utility work by Columbia Gas. All lanes will reopen during off-work hours. This schedule is subject to change.
Wednesday (2/5) through Friday (2/7) - reduced to one lane northbound, accommodating left turns, straight traffic, and right turns. Monday (2/10) through Friday (2/14) - reduced to two lanes northbound, one lane accommodating left turns and one lane accommodating straight traffic and right turns.
Commuters should plan ahead, allow extra travel time and expect delays.
Beginning Tuesday (1/28) early morning and continuing through Friday (2/14) late afternoon, workers will conduct utility work at various manhole locations along John Herrick Drive. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
UPDATE Jan 24 - Because of weather, this project has been rescheduled to Tuesday (1/28) from early morning to mid afternoon. The City of Columbus has advised that it will close Schottenstein Drive at Olentangy River Road for utility work. It is anticipated that the bike path will not be impacted.
