On Wednesday (9/23), from early morning through early afternoon, College Road at Annie & John Glenn Avenue will experience a slight lane restriction to accommodate utility work. Traffic will be maintained with the assistance of traffic control officials.
UPDATE Sep 22 - On September 29 and October 3, 10, 25, and 31, beginning early morning through late afternoon, parking and sidewalks around Converse Hall will be closed to accommodate crane lifts to upgrade the Converse Hall HVAC systems. Access to the building will be maintained. Signage will detour pedestrians around the work zones. Pedestrians are urged to exercise additional caution.
On four Tuesdays (9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10), Millikin Road north of Annie and John Glenn Ave. will be reduced to one lane for crane lifts to facilitate McCracken roof replacement. Two-way traffic will be maintained in one lane with the assistance of traffic control personnel. Signage will detour pedestrians to the east sidewalk.
UPDATE Sep 22 - Field conditions have necessitated closing 11th Avenue again on Thursday (9/24) through Monday (9/28). Eleventh Avenue and the north sidewalk east of Neil Avenue will be closed to accommodate utility work. The 11th Avenue Garage will remain accessible from the east. Signage will detour pedestrians around the site. The ADA detour is on Worthington Street.
Beginning Friday (9/25) early morning and continuing through Saturday (10/31) late afternoon, Carmack Road just west of Kenny Road will experience lane restrictions to accommodate utility work. Two-way traffic will be maintained. In two phases, work will close the westbound lanes (approximately 3 weeks) and then the eastbound lanes (approximately 2 weeks).
