Olentangy River Road and Sisson Hall Impacts

On Dec. 28-29 and again on Jan. 4-5, Olentangy River Road will undergo three phases of lane restrictions south of the pedestrian bridge to accommodate utility work. On Jan. 6, phase 4 will impact some parking spaces at Sisson Hall. Throughout, two-way traffic and access to the Sisson Hall parking lot will be maintained.

Fyffe Road Closed

From Monday (Dec. 20) early morning through Thursday (Dec. 30) early evening, Fyffe Rd. between Lane Ave. and Woody Hayes Dr. will be closed to accommodate utility work.  Signage will detour traffic and pedestrians. CABS buses will be detoured to Woody Hayes Dr., Kenny Rd., and Lane Ave.

Old Cannon Dr. - Overnight Closures

From Dec. 20-31, Old Cannon Dr. between Medical Center Dr. and King Ave. will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to accommodate utility work to support the new Dodd Garage. Signage will detour traffic. Motorists wishing to access King Ave. are advised to utilize Neil Ave.

Deferred maintenance is a priority issue for Facilities Operations and Development’s vice president Mark Conselyea.

“Deferred maintenance is clearly an issue with all of our colleagues in universities across the nation,” Conselyea said.

College Road Lane Restrictions

From Friday (Dec. 17) early morning through Tuesday (Dec. 21) mid evening, the northbound lane of College Rd. will be closed to accommodate landscaping. Flaggers will facilitate two-way traffic between 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The northbound lane will reopen each evening at 7 p.m. and close again the following morning at 6 a.m.
