FOD is Educating Campus About Water Consumption

While World Water Day comes just once a year, Brenda VanCleave doesn’t limit her water conservation to a single day. Instead, the Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) water resource engineer finds ways to integrate her morale responsibility into her favorite hobby. 

“My garden at my house is my getaway,” VanCleave said.

Restricted Access – Academic and Administrative Buildings

Beginning on Thursday (3/19), all Columbus campus academic and administrative buildings will change to restricted access by having exterior doors locked. We are taking these additional steps to support the safety and security of the university community as well as the requirement that all employees who can do so work from home.

Facility Cleaning Requests

The health and safety of our campus community is our top priority. Facilities crews responsible for academic and administrative space are cleaning high touchpoints daily such as door handles, faucets, elevator controls, handrails and more.

Soil Testing Near Lacrosse Stadium

From Tuesday (3/10) early morning and continuing through late afternoon, soil testing will occur at various locations in and around the new lacrosse stadium.

College Road Closure

Beginning Monday (3/9) early morning and continuing through Wednesday (3/11) mid evening, College Road between 18th Ave. and Annie & John Glenn Ave. will be closed for utility work to support the Arts District expansion.  Traffic will be detoured to Woodruff Ave.  CABS routes will be detoured as follows:
